CURRENT SITUATION
Just back from my London debut of The Audacious Way.
It’s amazing how a new 10-minute talk and a 30 minute workshop can consume an entire month of your life.
I used to be a quick prep, show up and wing it” kind of girl…
but now I’m a deeply prepare and embody every word in my message kind of woman.
This work matters to me.
I was invited to share a philosophy I’ve been quietly building for the past five years.
Something that, I didn’t initially create to teach…
I created to save myself.
WHAT I’VE BEEN FIGURING OUT
I’m a recovering Yes addict.
I have lived my entire life swinging between two extremes:
Not enough… or far too much.
I didn’t understand the middle.
I didn’t understand myself.
And it turns out - most people don’t.
THE FRAMEWORK
So I built something to save us all!
A simple, universal dial.
On one side:
Not audacious enough
Holding back. Second guessing. Playing safe.
On the other:
Oops… too audacious
Overreaching. Overcommitting. Running past yourself.
And in the middle…
The sweet spot.
Where your ambition and your values dance the tango.
It’s where life starts working with you, not against you.
WHERE I AM THIS WEEK
Right now?
I’m firmly in not audacious enough.
Heavy period.
Hormones doing their peri-menopausal thing.
Iron levels basically non-existent.
And after two months of highly focused output… my system has quietly said:
we’re done now, let’s rest.
THE REALISATION
This is the part no one really talks about.
That moment after you deliver.
The integration.
The recalibration.
And the coming back home to yourself.
it’s not failure, or laziness, or an inability to do the thing -
It’s just… part of the rhythm of being alive.
THE PRACTICE
So ‘the after’ isn’t about pushing.
It’s about gently turning the dial back toward centre.
I’ve had a hormone consultation, with my regular 3 month blood tests at Salud 10, one of the leading hormone clinics in Europe, who I’m blessed to be able to easily access here on Mallorca.
I’ve recently committed to a regular practice of Qigong, within a special group, taught by the wonderful Lesley Lund, who’s a worldwide legend with no social media presence, yet!
And my son is here for the Easter holidays, so Mama Mode is fully activated and my heart is overflowing with love.
All, small, but true, intentional movements.
YOUR TURN
So let me ask you:
Where are you on the dial today?
SIGNING OFF
That’s my current situation.
Enjoy your week and don’t forget there’s a beautiful full pink moon tonight which is inviting us to step into more of who we know we are.
With wild appreciation,
Emma xxx
